The Process

• Consultation: contact me for a free initial consultation to learn more about my portrait services.

• Planning: In this phase, we’ll discuss the details of your portrait shoot, including the location, outfit(s), desired aesthetic and requested backgrounds (if used). In-studio photography may be provided at an additional cost. We will also discuss having your hair and makeup done, getting a full night of sleep the night before a shoot and things that will enhance your experience.

• Photo Shoot: It’s time to have fun and loosen up! I’ll guide you through a number of poses that align with your desired aesthetic, and then will allow the mood of the moment to guide the rest of our session. Some of my best portraits have come out of impromptu shots of my client while they were immersed in laughter or telling a story.

• Delivery: A basic portrait package includes four fully retouched images of your choice. If you’d like to have more images and/or additional services (e.g., printing, framing, etc.), they may be requested at an additional cost. Please include these details in the consultation phase to receive a custom quote.
